I have people asking one question. "Scone" they say, "Scone is this a healthy, safe activity?" And just like Morgan Spurlock before me in "Supersize Me" I recognise the health risks in what I am attempting to do. However, unlike Morgan I will not be asking anyone to 'superslice' me. But I do remain hopeful. Cake shops please note.
Looking back now I feel I have been building towards this challenge all my life, and over the years have diligently prepared my body to face these rigours. I weighed myself at the start (a very slim 80kg and from this you've probably guessed I am 6 ft 2 inches tall) and I expect to weigh the same at the end. I have always followed a very healthy life style full of exercise and an otherwise very healthy diet. For the full details please see my other site (http://www.5pints-and-a-kebab-onthewayhome.com/).
Therefore, my advice is, please do not try this at home.

About Me

- The Scone Ranger
- I am the Scone Ranger. I have been posted to West Lancashire until March 2015, and I have set myself a mission. Each week for those 3 and a half years I will visit a different place in West Lancashire (preferably by public transport) in order to have a cup of tea, a piece of cake and a sit down. I'll then share this with you so that you know the best places to go and how to get there. Just to make sure that I get treated just the same as you, and get no preferential status by way of my elevated role as cake taster, I will wear my mask when visiting each place. Hence my name, The Scone Ranger. Yours Scone
